The sweetest dreams can happen when you are sleeping in a pretty bedroom. Some of you have asked me to show what my bedroom looks like these days. Well, it all goes back to the inner fight of light blue vs red. After years of a light blue comforter and sheets and pillows, red won for the quickie remodel. Here are some pictures of our bedroom. And no, we are not this clean- I had to throw the heaping piles of books, magazines and hair rubberbands into another room to take the pictures.

I realize that this has nothing to do with the rest of the post, but last night the boys begged me to make “scones.” Normally, we would swing through the Starbucks drive-thru and pick some up, but now that the budget has been revised, this will become a rarity. So we made our own homemade version of chocolate chip scones. They came out perfect!
